Senior Adult Ministry

Senior Adults are important to God and important at First Baptist Church Collinsville. Whether you are new in town or have lived in Collinsville for years, you will find a warm welcome at First Baptist Church Collinsville.

What will you find at First Baptist Church Collinsville?

A Sunday School Class for You:

Friendships grow best in small groups. Every Sunday morning, our classes meet for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. You can choose between a Co-Ed/Couples class or a Senior Women's or Men’s class.

Worship:

The entire church gathers for worship on Sunday morning. We sing a mixture of hymns and choruses and enjoy a message by our Pastor, Jerry Davis.

Senior Game Day:

How about a game of Forty-Two? You will want to come to our Senior Game Day.  We play a variety of games and enjoy a covered dish luncheon together.

 Senior Adult News

Some of you missed it last month; we had a good time and a change of cuisine (grilled hamburgers) along with the fixings. We had dominoes, 42 & 84 or 88 or something like that. Everyone had some fun. This month is going to be our last game day of the year with Thanksgiving & Christmas coming up so we are going to try a meal of chicken along with sides by potluck. In the meantime please look for the signup sheet & side dishes (that you will bring) signup sheet on the office window. Please sign up by October 12 we need to know how many are going to be here for chicken & GAMES: Oct.17

Looking forward, we are considering going to see the choir along with other choirs in their Christmas presentation at Kidd Key Auditorium. We will see how that looks a little later.
