This Sunday Evening will be a very important time in the life of the church. After much prayer, planning and hard work, the Building Committee will be presenting a proposal, for a new multi – purpose center. You have had opportunity for several months to ask questions, express your concerns and make suggestions to the committee. Now it is time for each of us to seek God’s will in this very important matter.

            After our evening service, and during a special called Business Meeting, we will be giving you opportunity, to affirm the Building Committee proposal, by secret ballot. I ask that each person, currently on our membership roll, come prayerfully prepared to vote in the manner, which God is leading.

            Remember, that there was an overwhelming affirmation of the Feasibility Study committee for this project, and the Building Committee has been careful to take those suggestions and by God’s help, put together a set of preliminary plans and a general budget, to complete the project. 

            Going forward, this will be a real step of faith for First Baptist Church, but God always honors steps of faith, that will bring glory and honor to Himself. My prayer is that God’s will is accomplished and that He will give this body of believers a unity of spirit, so vital, as we press on for the glory of God. See you Sunday!
